About The Society

The Society for the Preservation of Historic Revelry regularly embarks on projects in a variety of formats; such as blog posts, photography, excursions, events, and publications to realize its mandate of finding new ways to re-live, re-contextualize, and re-tell stories from the past.

The society is a constantly evolving, loose knit, well connected, group of creative professionals that cast a wide net of talent and disciplines on the projects we undertake. Our past expeditions have included film makers, writers, web developers, photographers, radio broadcasters, designers, musicians and contemporary artists. The Society for the Preservation of Historic Revelry seeks to ignite the past through history, camraderie, travel, and of course, revelry.
